Metodika používaná v učebnici Cheeky Monkey

Učebnice založená na dvou konceptech: story-based approach (výuce pomocí příběhu) a TPR (Total Physical Response – zapojení motorické aktivity do procesu osvojování jazyka). Cheeky's jungle gym vychází právě z těchto přístupů, kdy se děti učí pomocí aktivit, tanečků a hudebních her. Osvojování angličtiny začíná rozvojem receptivní složky jazyka a teprve po zvládnutí této složky se přistupuje k rozvoji produktivní složky jazyka.
