Aesop's Fables book is a wonderful collection of much-loved fables that have been read to children for centuries. Each story is retold and simplified to meet the needs of young children learning English at elementary level (A2). Fable is a short story that features animals and plants that are given human qualities, such as the ability to speak human language.
