Učebnice je určena mírně pokročilým a svou koncepcí je vhodná i pro samouky. Velký důraz autoři kladou na rovnoměrné rozvíjení všech jazykových dovedností, na slovní zásobu, mluvnici i fonetiku, ale také na opakování probírané látky. Z původního vydání je ponechán srozumitelný výklad mluvnice na české bázi a rodina Prokopova, která se stala symbolem úspěšné a stále žádané učebnice. Nové jsou ilustrace, grafická úprava, texty a dialogy jsou aktualizovány. Učebnice obsahuje poslechová cvičení a jejich přepis. Klíč se stal součástí učebnice.

Třetí díl je závěrečnou částí přepracovaného souboru učebnic pro jazykové školy. Je určen středně pokročilým studentům a svou koncepcí je opět vhodný i pro samouky. Text učebnice je rozdělen do 15 lekcí a všechny lekce, kromě tří opakovacích, se skládají ze čtyř částí, stejně jako v předchozích dílech: první část obsahuje základní texty pojednávající o běžném životě, druhá dialogy, které navazují na základní texty. Each level of Practical Grammar has 100 units, divided into modules of five units. Each module examines a particular area of grammar. The grammar is set in short, everyday conversations or texts, showing the language in natural situations which students will find engaging and can relate to. Students then examine the form, meaning and use of the language before practising it in a variety of activity types.

A Review section concludes each module and regular tests check students' progress.

Each level comes with two audio CDs and a pin code which allows access to MyPG for extensive additional online practice for use at home or in self-access centres.
