The Macmillan English 6 Practice Book contains practice exercises for the Language Book activities. It is intended for children to complete for homework or for quiet class time. Practice Book pages should be done when the corresponding page in the Language Book has been finished. If there is time at the end of the Language Book lesson, teachers may like to go through some or all of the exercises orally before children work independently.

Packaged with the Practice Book is the Working with Words CD-ROM. It includes a wide range of interactive activities for further consolidation and practice of grammar and vocabulary as well as a picture dictionary and all audio files for the Fluency Book.

Broken down into six lessons plus revision pages, the Macmillan English 6 Language Book gives the opportunity to work through basic skills such as: Reading, Comprehension, Sentence Building, Grammar, Listening, Phonics and Class Writing.

The Macmillan English 6 Fluency Book helps children to develop natural intonation when speaking English. It tells an exciting 18-episode adventure story featuring four child characters and uses some narrative, but mainly dialogue.
